Q. What type of Gift Cards can I purchase?

You can purchase Foodland Supermarket Gift Cards and Local Cellars Gift Cards. Foodland Gift Cards can be used at any Foodland Supermarket stores in South Australia and Broken Hill. Local Cellars Gift Cards can be used at any Local Cellars Stores in South Australia. Please note that conditions and exclusions apply and refer to the Gift Card Terms and Conditions for further details.

Q. Is there anything I can’t use my Gift Card for?

Yes, some restrictions do apply. You cannot use your Gift Card for lottery tickets, tobacco products, commission related sales such as phone recharge, dry cleaning or to purchase gift cards, and gift cards are not redeemable for cash and cannot be exchanged. Check the Gift Card Terms and Conditions for a complete list of product and service exclusions or ask at the service desk in our stores.

Q. Where can the Gift Cards be used/redeemed?

Q. Can I purchase Gift Cards on behalf of a company?

Yes, to purchase both Foodland and Local Cellars Gift Cards on behalf of a company please visit https://corporate.foodlandsagiftcards.com.au

Q. Can I exchange my Gift Card?

You cannot exchange your Gift Card for a different denomination or type of Gift Card for another tender, cash, or discount.

Q. Can I return or refund a Gift Card?

Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for another denomination of Gift Card or for tender (i.e. cash). Gift Cards cannot be refunded or returned, unless required by law. Delivery fees are non-refundable, unless required by law.

Q. What value can I put on a Gift Card?

A Gift Card ordered online can be loaded with any value between $5.00 and $500.00. Gift Cards cannot be reloaded or recharged with additional value.

Q. Can more value be added to a Gift Card?

No, once a Gift Card has been purchased, the value on it cannot be increased.

Q. How many times can I use my Gift Card?

You can use your Gift Card in store one or more times until the balance reaches zero.

Q. Is there a limit on the number of Gift Cards I can use to pay for my order at the register?

You may redeem up to 5 (five) Gift Cards per order.

Q. Can I use a Foodland Team Member discount?

We do not accept Foodland Team Member or Local Cellars discount cards for online Gift Card orders.

Q. Is it secure to enter my credit card details?

Your information and online credit card transactions are transmitted through a secure server using Secure Socket Layering (SSL), encryption technology. You can identify this by looking at the URL address "https," the "s" indicates you are in a secure area employing SSL. Your browser may also give you a pop-up message that you are about to enter a secure area.

FOODLAND ONLINE GIFT CARD ORDERS


Q. What is an eGift Card?

An eGift Card is a digital Foodland Gift Card that is delivered via email. It works in the same way as a physical Gift Card. You choose the amount and message. The recipient will receive your personalised email once payment has been approved. The recipient can then print the eGift Card or present the downloaded Gift Card on their mobile device to redeem in-store or online. eGift Cards will be delivered within 24 hours of purchase.

Q. Can I choose the Gift Card design?

Yes, from time to time there will be alternate Gift Card designs available that you may choose from during the ordering process.

Q. Can I add a message to the Gift Card?

Yes, you can create a custom message up to 400 characters (including spaces). The message you create will appear on all Gift Cards in an order. For Physical Gift Cards, the message will be printed on the Gift Card carrier. For eGift cards the message will be displayed on the eGift Card.

Q. How will my Gift Card be presented?

Physical Foodland and Local Cellars Gift Cards are presented in a specifically designed Gift Card carrier. eGift Cards are sent directly to the email address nominated by you. eGift Cards can be printed, scanned from a mobile device or added to Apple/Android wallet for redemption in-store.

Q. Can I choose when my eGift Card is sent?

Yes, you can select any date in the future for your card to be sent, or you can leave it at today’s date, and it will be sent once payment has been made and approved/processed.

Q. What form of payments are accepted online?

Payment can be made by Mastercard and Visa. Foodland does not accept cheque, cash, or Gift Card payments. Payment must be cleared before the order is fulfilled.

Q. What delivery options are available and how much will delivery cost?

Foodland gives you the option to mail a physical Gift Card or email eGift Cards. All mailed deliveries are sent via Registered Post to the nominated delivery address. A flat delivery fee of $4.95 applies to each delivery address containing up to 10 Gift Cards. If no one is at the delivery address a calling card will be left to collect the Gift Card(s) from the nearest post office. No delivery fee will apply where eGift Cards are delivered via email.

Q. Can I nominate another person to receive my Gift Card order?

Yes, you can order your Gift Cards and have the order delivered by mail or email to any person and/or company nominated as the delivery recipient.

Q. Can I send Gift Cards to more than one address?

Yes, you can specify up to 10 delivery addresses. You will need to specify the items for each delivery package during the ordering process. A delivery fee of $4.95 will apply per nominated mailing delivery address specified in the Order.

Q. Can I order Gift Cards from outside Australia?

Yes, we accept orders from outside of Australia, however Physical Gift Cards will only be delivered to Australian businesses and Australian residential street addresses, no international delivery options are available.

Q. Can I mail Gift Cards overseas?

Gift cards can only be mailed within Australia.

Q. When will my order be delivered?

Gift Cards will be dispatched to your nominated delivery address(es) as specified in your order. Delivery for mailed Gift Cards may take up to seven (7) business days from the date of payment confirmation. Delivery of emailed Gift Cards are sent once payment has been approved, however, eGift Cards can take up to 24 hours after purchase to be delivered.

Q. How do I download my Foodland eGift Card into my Apple Wallet?

Open the email received from ‘Foodland eGift Cards’ on your Apple device. Click on the ‘Add to Wallet’ button, this will launch the Foodland Gift Card pass. Select ‘Add’ button on the top right-hand corner and your Foodland eGift Card will be added to your Passbook application.

Q. How do I download my Foodland eGift Card into my Foodland Great Rewards App?

Open the email received from ‘Foodland eGift Cards’ on your device. Click on the ‘Add to your Great Rewards App’ button, this will launch the Foodland Great Rewards App. Select ‘Add’ button on the right-hand corner and your Foodland or Local Cellars eGift Card will be added to your Great Rewards wallet.

Q. I don’t have the Great Rewards App? How do I get it?

To obtain the Foodland Great Rewards App customers must:

  • Download the App from the Apple Store or Google Play Store;
  • Complete registration of a user profile, including taking any steps that we may require for the user profile to be verified;
  • Once verified, a unique Foodland User ID will be created, and customers will be able to access a barcode unique to that ID (Foodland Great Rewards Card) which will be accessible via the App.

Q. How do I redeem my eGift Card from my Apple Wallet?

Download your eGift Card into Passbook. Visit any Foodland or Local Cellars store and present the pass on your phone or device at the register when you are ready to make a purchase.

Q. How do I redeem my eGift Card from my Foodland Rewards App?

Visit any Foodland or Local Cellars store and present the pass on your phone or device at the register when you are ready to make a purchase. You can find your eGift Card in your Great Rewards wallet.

Q. How do I check the status of my order?

You can contact the Gift Card Customer Service Team on 1300 554 268 to check the status of your Gift Card order.

Q. Can I cancel my order?

Change of mind refunds and cancellations cannot be made to Foodland or Local Cellars Gift Card Online orders.

Q. How do I place an order?

To place a Gift Card order online follow the steps below.

SELECT THE PREFERRED CARD TYPE i.e. Physical or eGift Card

  • Select the Gift Card design, number of cards and value per card and click 'Add to cart'. Please note if you wish to nominate more than one delivery address and/or method you will need to add separate items to the cart. You may send up to 10 Gift Cards to each nominated delivery address.
  • Repeat step 1a until you have added the required number of Gift Cards. Once complete select 'Checkout'.

ENTER YOUR DETAILS

  • Enter your details; First name, surname, email, phone, address, suburb, state, country, and postcode are required fields.

ENTER YOUR MESSAGE

  • Should you wish to add a custom message (up to 400 characters (including spaces) complete the required fields. The message you create will appear on all Gift Cards in an order. If you do not wish to add a message, simply leave blank.
  • Select Next.

ENTER RECIPIENT DETAILS

  • Enter the delivery details. Please specify if you wish to send all items to the same address or specify items that you wish to send in each package. Please note a delivery fee is applicable to orders sent via Registered Post to each nominated delivery address.
  • Repeat the above step for each package.

CONFIRM & PAYMENT

  • Review details of your order if you would like to amend your order select the 'Previous' button or if correct click on 'Perform Payment'.
  • Enter your payment details and select Continue to perform payment or cancel to cancel your order. Payment can be made using Mastercard and Visa

Once payment has been processed, you will receive a confirmation message and an order number. Please record this order number for further enquires or select 'print page' for your reference. Please note that a Gift Card Order Confirmation will be sent to the email address provided.

BALANCE, EXPIRY AND TRANSACTIONS


Q. How can I check the Gift Card balance, expiry date and transaction history?

You can check your Gift Card balance and expiry date in store by calling 1300 554 268 or visiting https://retail.foodlandsagiftcards.com.au/CheckBalance. For balance enquiries by phone or online, you will be required to enter both the Gift Card number (the 18-digit number) and PIN CODE on your Gift Card prior to getting access to the Gift Card information.

Q. How do I get a list of transactions made with my Gift Card?

You can get a list of your Gift Card purchases when you check your balance online at https://retail.foodlandsagiftcards.com.au/CheckBalance or by calling the Gift Card Customer Service Team on 1300 554 268

Q. Do Foodland Gift Cards expire?

All Foodland Gift Cards purchased from 31 March 2018 will expire three years from the issue date.

Q. Why has the Gift Card expiry date been extended?

The Australian Consumer Law (ACL) amended the Gift Card laws nationally to apply to all Gift Cards supplied to consumers on or after 1 November 2019. Gift Cards sold in Australia on or after 1 November 2019 must have a minimum three-year expiry period. There are exclusions that apply, for further information on the Gift Card legislation, please view the Treasury Laws Amendment (Gift Cards) Act 2018.

LOST, STOLEN OR DAMAGED GIFT CARDS


Q. What if a Gift Card is lost or stolen?

Once Gift Cards are activated, they should be treated like case, as lost or stolen cards cannot be replaced or refunded.

Q. What should I do if my Gift Card is damaged?

If your Gift Card is damaged, please take it to a store and have it checked by one of the team members or contact the Foodland Gift Card Customer Service Team on 1300 554 268
